Red varieties of Kratom are known for their sedating, relaxing and pain mediating effects. Some people however find them energizing which is rare but not unheard of. The specific effects between any given “strain” is relative to the user and their body chemistry. Often times it is favorable to mix reds with any of the other kratom to create a desired effect that is tailored to you. Reds on their own will generally be sedating with moderate euphoria.
